I had been wanting to go, but had not been able to go for a while. The other day, I ran into my son at a polling place and had him take me. I tried the Koi Kuchi Ramen today. The color is dark, but it has a rich flavor and is easy to eat, the noodles also had a nice texture that I really liked. They also had ramen using plums and a healthy ingredient called Ahoin on the menu. I would like to visit again. It seems that it turns into an izakaya at night, and since the atmosphere of the store is calm and has a Showa era feel, I also want to try going at night.
Located along the river in Agata, this restaurant may seem easy to overlook at first glance. The "Ahohen Ramen" was delicious with a perfect soy sauce flavor, falling somewhere between light and rich. The "Old-fashioned Ramen" leaned towards the lighter side with a tasty bonito broth. My personal favorite was still the "Ahohen Ramen" as it had a rich and flavorful taste. The noodles had a nice firm texture and paired well with the soup. The husband and wife who run the restaurant value homemade dishes and were very friendly. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
