The staff at this restaurant is amazing. The beautiful wood sculptures and bonsai trees create a very serene atmosphere. The museum entrance fee is 800 yen for adults, 500 yen for children, and free for children under 6. The lunch and coffee were also delicious, especially the tacos and taco rice. Please note that on Tuesdays, they only serve drinks. View all feedback.
This place is a treasure trove for photography, and I have visited multiple times for that very reason. It is a unique café with bonsai gardens and even a small cave to explore. The cave requires a flashlight and helmet to navigate through. It is made up of several finished rooms filled with wood, stone carvings, pottery, and artwork. After exploring inside and outside the cave, you can stop and enjoy a meal at the upscale restaurant for a reasonable price.
The cave tour is actually a wonderful art tour made from natural wood and minerals found in the caves. Along the way, there are hundreds of bonsai trees. The self-guided tour costs 800 yen and took us an hour to see everything. The café is located at the end of the tour. The staff welcomed us with ice water and invited us to look at the menu. Since we had already eaten lunch, we decided not to order anything. I strongly recommend taking the tour. It's a beautiful place that is deceiving from the entrance.
