Affordable and delicious. The chicken-based soba noodles are light and easy to eat. Okinawan soba costs 550 yen. They forgot my order, so one star off.
This restaurant with a striking red sign offers Okinawan set meals at affordable prices. The customers are mostly local or working men. There are both table and tatami seating options. I visited again and happened to come on the 18th, which was Soba Day, with a special offer. I ordered their signature 600 yen Iha Soba. The dish came with rice or juushi, which was a nice touch. The noodles were thin and firm from Kamehama Menjo, and the transparent soup with a layer of oil on top was delicious. The soup had a hint of garlic and leaned closer to ramen-style. The chicken on top was tenderly cooked. The juushi had a pleasant aroma of hijiki, but was a bit too soft, which made it slightly lacking in oiliness for my taste. It seems they also considered the preferences of older customers.
