ビックリヤ Zhèng Zōng Tīng Diàn

Before going to Bitchu Matsuyama Castle in Takahashi City, I had a meal at "Hien" restaurant. I ordered Chinese bowl, fried noodles, and sweet and sour pork. The dishes were all well-seasoned and the portion sizes were satisfying. Everything was delicious, and I'm glad I chose "Hien". Thank you for the meal.

This is a restaurant run by an older woman and her young son. The original restaurant we wanted to go to was closed, so we reluctantly decided to eat here. Both of them were not very friendly, and the service was just okay, which made us a bit worried as we walked in. We ordered the Tianjin fried rice, and the young son in the kitchen skillfully cooked the eggs and made the sauce, which was then brought to us in about 3 minutes. The presentation was not great, but the taste was surprisingly good and satisfying. The only inconvenience was that they only accepted cash for payment.

I had the Chinese rice bowl and dumplings, and they were delicious. I had just moved to Takahashi City and, on my second day, feeling hungry and not knowing the area at all, I decided to stop by this restaurant. It was before lunchtime so there were no other customers. The dumplings were just like the ones my mother used to make at home, both in taste and appearance, and they were very nostalgic.
