The noodles are firm, not as firm as al dente but not powdery, and the soup is a rich combination of seafood and meat broth with a hint of sweetness from the onions. It's delicious! Recommended for those who like their noodles on the firmer side.

I ordered the large portion of button and my usual patsun noodles. When you order a large portion, it feels like there isn't enough soup. The taste is as delicious as always. I heard there is a secret menu where you can add extra soup for an additional 300 yen. I quickly handed 300 yen to the old man and ordered the extra soup. This is the first time I've seen a photo where the soup is more than the noodles at this restaurant. The regular portion had plenty of soup but no extra ingredients.

I was surprised when I first tried it! The noodles are firm! It's a truly unique ramen, but it's delicious!! Also, the owner is very friendly ・∀・.

This ramen shop is truly one-of-a-kind. I know tastes can be divided, but I personally love it. Don't be swayed by ratings or reviews, see for yourself once. The unique appearance, unique ramen, and distinctive owner make this place special. The noodles are very firm and unique, with a different sensation when you first bite into them compared to after some time has passed, making them addictive. The soup is unique but rich and addicting. The owner claims everything is additive-free. I definitely want to visit again.

麺は硬いです。 スープは少ないです。 具も少ないです。肉そばを注文しても、れんげに二杯ほどの量の肉が盛られるだけです。 店は小汚いです。カウンターにははがれた雑誌の表紙がこびりついていて、椅子の座面は破れていてスポンジがはみ出ています。 普通のラーメンではありません。ぎりぎりラーメンと言ってもいいでしょう。 でも美味しいです。 麺は硬いのですが、ちゃんとゆでられていない麺にある粉っぽさは感じられません。この麵はこの硬さで食べるための麵であり、この麺を得るための自家製麺だとわかります。スープの少なさも、ラーメンとはそもそもスープから麺をすすって食べるものであり、スープをまとった麺の味を追求するならこの量と味の濃さは理にかなっています。ゆえにスープを別に口へと運ぶためのれんげもありません。よくよく考えてみれば、蕎麦屋のぶっかけそぼとかもつゆの量はこれぐらいで、つゆも飲みません。それと同じです。店内には‘’「味オンチには」不向きです‘‘との貼紙があって、「」の使い方がおかしいやろ、いや、そもそも何様のつもりやねんと思いましたが、この味には感服しました。 武家屋敷で有名な角館の駅近くにありますが、改札とは反対側の、観光客がたまたま通りかかることはまずない立地です。それでも繁盛しているのは流石です。ｷｬｯｷｬｳﾌﾌなカップル、ｷﾞｬｰｷﾞｬｰﾜｰﾜｰな子供連れには武家屋敷周辺のありきたりでお上品の店のほうが楽しめそうですが、そういうお店のメニューに並んでいるのは秋田名物であっても角館名物ではないので、そうでない方々には真の角館グルメであるこちらをお勧めします。
