I stayed here for work this time, but it was such a wonderful inn that I don't want to share it publicly. If you happen to pass through this area, please consider staying here. I visited this inn for work, and it was a heartwarming stay. It may not have the convenience and sophistication of a typical hotel, but it is a classical traditional inn. The facilities and rooms may not be new, but they are well-maintained and clean. The smiling hostess is very friendly and kind, and the meals, mainly made with local ingredients, were filling and delicious. Some things to note are that the baths are separate for men and women, but they are family-style baths so only one person can enter at a time (basic amenities are provided). Also, there are no locks or safes in the rooms, so it's important to be careful with your valuables. Hand towels are provided, but bath towels are not. Some rooms have thick partitions like sliding doors that do not lock, so noise from neighboring rooms, especially if there are children, could be a concern. The price for one night with two meals was 6,600 yen. I had a very comfortable and satisfying stay, thank you for your hospitality. (Photos included a view from the second-floor room, the entrance from the second floor, part of dinner with horse sashimi and simmered dish)

There is a bath!! It is just a normal household bath, but it seems like you can use it anytime. We stayed after playing at Nagoski Ski Resort. There was about 2 meters of snow piled up by the roadside. The food and service were excellent! I was hungry so the portion was just right. Maybe because we were students, we even got extra rice lol. The lamb stir-fry and chicken sauce cutlets were amazing! The side dishes for breakfast were also great! I definitely want to come back again. There is also a hot spring at a roadside rest area just 10 minutes away by car, but when we went, it was not open on Tuesdays so please be careful. The hot spring has a salty taste.
