Your Kaiseki menus (one at ¥15,000 and others at ¥20.000 is decently appreciated compared to others). The restaurant is located in one of Kyoto Authentic historical alley in Gion (Ishibekoji) and only 9-10seats on the counter where you can see delicious dishes prepared by you. the service is top notch and they tell you the story behind every dish and key components. the presentation is amazing. Among other things, the fish is delicious, the meat melts in your mouth, the curry ingenious and the dessert really great with tropical fruits. One of the best souvenirs that they bring a mussel to you as a conversation and the shell begins to open and dance themselves...then they take it to the 3rd and 4th delicious preparation. very recommended place.

The food and setting were perfect, but the staff are what really make this place special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The hostess was especially kind and helpful, and she and one of the sous-chefs spoke excellent English and explained the various dishes as we ate. Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented, and the head chef obviously put a lot of care into selecting, preparing, and presenting his food. Also, the online reservation system was very easy to use, and I highly recommend booking a reservation if you plan to come to Kyoto.
