On August 14, 2019, we stopped by on our way back to the hotel after climbing Mount Meakan. As mentioned in other reviews, an elderly man who appeared to be the owner and chef was running the restaurant by himself. I ordered the Katsu Curry Rice (¥850). Since we were the only customers, the Katsu Curry arrived faster than expected. The taste was undeniably delicious, and it can be said that this restaurant is a renowned Western-style dining spot in Nakashibetsu. I couldn't help but feel regretful as a customer that the restaurant wasn't located in a more urban area to attract more business. The interior had a Showa retro style, but cleanliness was slightly lacking, so I would deduct one star.
