I visited this restaurant for lunch. It's rare to find a place where you can eat ramen for only 350 yen these days. The fried rice was also simple and delicious. I will definitely visit again.
I had another errand to run, but when I happened to pass by the front of the restaurant and saw "Lunchtime Ramen 350" written, I was surprised to see that it only cost 350 yen. At first, I walked past the shop, but I ended up going back. I thought it wouldn't be enough just to have the 350 yen ramen, so I also ordered a beer. The beer was Sapporo Black Label, priced at 450 yen. Water was self-service. The ramen came with chashu, bean sprouts, seaweed, nori, and menma, all for 350 yen, which impressed me. The soup had a nostalgic taste to it. If I have the chance, I would like to try other items on the menu next time.
This restaurant is located across from Osashiri Drug Store. It has a retro atmosphere that is full of Showa era charm. The restaurant is a bit small, with two table seats and a counter. The restaurant is run by the owner and his son. We tried the gyoza, ramen, and fried rice. The gyoza is bite-sized and goes well with beer, while the ramen has a refreshing soy sauce flavor that has been around for a long time. The noodles are soft and the portion is average. The fried rice was also delicious, with simple ingredients like chashu, naruto, green onions, and egg. The crispy texture and the flavor of the chashu combined with the salt and pepper is irresistible. The depth of flavor in the chashu makes you want to keep eating it forever. Most of the menu items are decorated with photos, making it easy to order. I was honestly surprised that the soy sauce ramen during lunchtime was only 350 yen. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still enjoy a leisurely meal even on weekends. It may be a tough time now, but please hang in there! We are quietly rooting for you.
