The location is a bit far, but because it's in the mountains, it was cool yesterday. The hot water was a bit slimy. The temperature of the water might be just right for adults, but it could be a bit too hot for children. You can also order drinks from the open-air bath, so it might be nice on a hot day. Heading south on Route 168, after passing through Nishino Tunnel and continuing a bit further, you'll see a sign on your right. There is a dog at the entrance to greet you. It was quite crowded on Sunday, with nearly 10 cars parked in the parking lot. Despite being deep in the mountains, the facilities were new and seemed quite popular. There is 1 indoor bath, 1 cold water bath, 1 outdoor bath (plus 2 pot baths), and 1 sauna. The overall space is small, so I think you can relax without worrying about people on weekdays.

I visited on the last day of business at the end of the year. I arrived at 11am to make sure they were open during the year-end. I was worried about snow due to the cold wave at the end of the year, but there were no problems this time. It was the start of the business hours on the last day of operation, so there were no customers, which was great. It was my second visit, and the hot water was pleasantly warm and relaxing. The outdoor bath had a nice view of the snow-capped mountains, but there were buildings below, could they belong to this facility? There was no privacy screen and it was a bit distracting. The outdoor bath was at a good temperature, but I stretched out my legs and soaked slowly in the indoor bath. I couldn't find a resting place, so when I looked around, I was advised to "please have a seat" and took an early lunch to not feel bad about not ordering anything. The building was clean and the bath was beautiful and felt great. The pricing was a bit on the higher side, but the hot water was good and it's close to home, so I'm satisfied with it.
