Contribute FeedbackI had been told before that the strawberry daifuku here is delicious, so I stopped by on my way back from the hot springs. I thought it was a Japanese confectionery store because of the strawberry daifuku, but it turned out to be a Western confectionery shop. Anyway, I got the strawberry daifuku I was after. There was a Mont Blanc next to it in the case, so I bought it too. The Mont Blanc was not too sweet with a light texture, and the cream inside was not too sweet and delicious. On the other hand, the strawberry daifuku had a substantial texture. It had a sponge cake base with a moderate sweetness cream and two strawberries inside, wrapped in a thin layer of sweetened bean paste. There were normal, matcha, and chocolate flavors of strawberry daifuku, so I'll try them next time. The prices were mostly in the 300 yen range, very reasonable and delicious.
The strawberry daifuku was incredibly delicious. It tasted just like a cake.
I love the sponge cake and the homemade pudding is delicious.
