There are two types of sea bream available, red sea bream and other varieties. Both the toppings and the rice were delicious. In addition to the seasonal Persimmon Leaf Sushi, there are other varieties available throughout the year. The service also provides tea to all customers. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. There is a parking lot with space for several cars. There are also two restrooms inside. The surrounding mountains and delicious water add to the experience. If you're in Nara, be sure to try the Persimmon Leaf Sushi and Persimmon Leaf Tea.

The kaki... read more After returning from Koyasan, we stopped by to grab a late lunch. As other reviewers have mentioned, we were welcomed with tea during the waiting time. The kakinoha sushi itself was very refined and delicious. Though a bit pricey, it made for a great memory of our trip.

Wh... read more I visited this restaurant for the first time to try Kakinoha-zushi, which I had never had before. Upon entering the restaurant, we were served with cold tea. When I mentioned that I had never tried Kakinoha-zushi before, they offered me a sample. Although I believe they do not usually have samples available, they took some from their displayed products for me to try. I purchased a set of salmon, conger eel, sea bream, and mackerel. It was light and easy to eat, with no strong flavors. The large parking lot was also a plus.
