It was really delicious food, thank you Thakali dai and bhauju for testy food. Sukuti Sadeko was fantastic
Went for lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. It 's up some steep stairs but they only lead to one entrance so you can 't get lost. Server was very helpful and gave good recommendations. When he says it 's spicy, he means actually spicy and not Japan-level spice. It was my first time having chiura and I 'd be happy to go back for more. I 've also never had the sides before but this was a great introduction to (not 100% sure) newa cuisine. The chai was the best I 've had too; definitely milky and not too sweet. I just wish it wasn 't so dark but I think it 's par for the course for ethnic restaurants in Japan.
This restaurant offers very authentic Newari and Thakali cuisine from Nepal. It is a great choice for those who enjoy spicy food. The dishes are incredibly delicious. Out of all the Nepalese and Indian restaurants I have tried in Tokyo and Kanagawa, this one truly captures the real taste of Nepalese food. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the location is just an 8-10 minute walk from Kawasaki train station. The prices are reasonable, making it a recommended spot for anyone looking for authentic Nepalese flavors without breaking the bank. Overall, it is a great value compared to similar restaurants in the area.
