a must be visited by javea . the service is the first class. oscar and his staff offer a warm welcome and that is for to die. the steaks come from the northern Spanish and are by far the best I have ever tried. the atmosphere is relaxed and relaxed. the family should be very proud of their bar restaurant. to be in the industry itself, I give this experience 11 out of 10 tony vodden with hayley reynolds .. We went here a few times during our recent stay in Javea, and we have been before in past years. Always receive a warm welcome, and the food is great. It’s a good place for a cocktail too if that is all you want, just a step away from the noisy crowded bars on the promenade.
Our favourite spot in Javea... ice cold beer, lovely T-Bone steak, and lovely service.... Will defo visit again when we visit the area in the future
We went to a wedding anniversary lunch here and cannot fault the food or the service. I had fillet steak which was possibly the best cooked steak I have had for a very long time and didn't really expect a restaurant which has so many types of food to be preparing such a beautiful tasty steak. So tender with my knife slicing through with such easy.
After many years of walking past Contrastes, we decided to give it a try on Friday evening. We were delighted we did as the food was superb and the service was too. Two of us had the steak (solomillo) and two of us had the fish (dorado). According to the meat eaters, the steak was probably the best they've ever had. The fish was also excellent, perfectly cooked and there was plenty of it. We all had dessert, they were all delicious and beautifully presented. Well eorth a visit.
Amazing food and excellent service. Scallop starter was delicious. Steak was perfect. Will definitely recommend and return.
