Was Anonym at Cedar & Pine a mag?
Took advantage of being in Wynnum early evening to sample a local restaurant option. Chose Cedar and Pine after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor... and thoroughly glad that we did. Staff were super friendly, food great, plus an extensive drinks menu. Our favourites were the coconut prawns (on special), the meatballs and the fish tacos. Fantastic for an evening drink. The staff are friendly and the decor is terrific. We definitely need more places like this in Wynnum and Manly. I just wish they had some slightly cheaper wines on the list, as it's so expensive to go out these days and enjoy a drink.
Came here on a sunday for breakfast and was very impressed with the fitout of the restaurant, very different for wynnum (im a local so i can say that ; the food was nice and well priced, i think the most impressive thing was that they were serving breakfast until 2:30pm on a sunday. Didnt really enjoy ordering at the counter, then having to get my own cutlery but all in all was a good experience. Will be back for more brekkys or lunches!
I had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great and I am looking forward to returning for some evening tapas!
I have not been to this cozy restaurant past 4:30pm, but the concept of offering wine and tapas sounds delightful. My visit during lunch was pleasant, with decent service and enjoyable food, though the chips were not cooked to perfection. The restaurant can get a bit noisy, but overall it would be a great spot for tapas and wine, and is decent enough for a lunch outing.
Nice place for drinks, especially out at Wynnum. A touch expensive for my taste more tap beers would make me happy (I know it's a wine bar), but good especially just around the corner.
