This is where the locals go to enjoy themselves. Great atmosphere, eating outside. Great service. Regular musical evenings on the banks of the Rhine. Visitors are more than welcome. Enjoy lunchtimes or evenings. The place to. be.....
Lovely spot under the trees on the banks of the Rhine - the temperature was over 30C so our team of Morris dancers, wives and friends were very grateful for the shade. Enjoyed delicious food and beer and even found the energy afterwards for a dance by the river. The staff did have a little difficulty keeping track of our orders, but probably only to be expected with such a large group.
During the recent heatwave in Worms, Kolb's Biergarten (or 'Kolbe Gretchen' as it is known locally) was the perfect spot to be. Sitting under the trees along the Rhine with their perfect 'Knusperhaehnchen' was delightful. They serve 'Mittagstisch' too and it has been a very popular spot for many years, so reservations are recommended.
Very tasty chicken eaten. the personal very friendly. we have now found a new starting point in worms!! price power top!
