not to mislead them, this place has become out of the tiny hole in the wall, the French classics every night of the week. what she will find now is a chic dachband that does good modern French. I'd rate it for what I like. but it does what it sets to achieve. afternoon drinks and functions 11/10 breakfast 11/10 dinner 9/10, please know that the lighting on the terrace is dim and it can be hard to read the small print... Nice ambience, average service with a good menu selection. All in the party opted for main plus dessert. Beef Bourguignon chosen by one was great, the duck ordered by two of us was the driest bit of boot leather I've encountered....and I eat a lot of duck. We had a great dinner. The lamb was a 10 out of 10 for me. The service was prompt and friendly. Thank you for being patient with our loud Greek ways. Many thanks.
Came here for a special dinner and was suitably impressed. Service was excellent, with lovely complementary morsels upon seating. Escargot for entre was delicious. My partner had the fish which was amazing, one of the best he's had. I tried the chicken which was very rustic and earthy. Would love to co.e back sometime.

Went here for mid week dinner with the partner and utilised The Fork 's discount offer.<br/ <br/ There was complimentary baguette slices and salted butter to start.<br/ As entrees, we ordered the 'Soupe de Jour ', which was a delicious roasted tomato soup, fennel and plump scallops, and the special 'Peppered Venison Carpaccio ', which did not seem like a true carpaccio but still well cooked venison slices on a leafy salad.<br/ For mains, we chose the 'Le Porc a la Bourguignonne ', which consisted of succulent pork with creamy potato puree, and 'Le Canard a l 'orange ', which unfortunately missed the balance of citric flavours and was a little too sweet.<br/ <br/ Smart casual ambience that fitted the 'cosy French ' vibe. Friendly service. Reasonable prices albeit we utilised The Fork discount special.<br/ <br/ Overall, a reasonable dinner experience, however just missing out on that something extra special to define it from the other emerging French restaurant competitors in Brisbane.
Since my earliest memories of the Gabba, I could always remember my parents driving me past and being curious about the shop with the Eiffel tower decorating the outside of it. Having maintained my curiosity throughout the years, it's long been top of my list for date night spots. I can't believe it's taken me so long to make my way there, but I was super excited to go with Adam last week for our mid week date night.
One of the best French cuisine we have ever been!!! The restaurant is really well maintained (clean) and AMAZING Service from the Team!!<br/ <br/ They served us with some Cheese breads (complimentary) which was perfectly cooked with crispy on the outside and super soft inside. They also served us some fresh breads with Salted butter (complimentary as well) nice and flavourful.<br/ <br/ Mains 1 PAN BRAISED BRISBANE VALLEY QUAIL SERVED WITH FALLS FARM ROASTED VEGETABLE The dish was great with lots of flavours and even some new vegetables we tried. Generous portion! 4/5<br/ <br/ Mains 2 TASMANIAN SPRING LAMB RUMP with POTATO GRATIN and TRUFFLED FOREST MUSHROOM SAUCE This dish was really Delicious and presentation was fabulous!! <br/ Lamb (Medium rare) was perfectly cooked, Potato Gratin was the best just melts in your mouth with tons of flavours and Sauce was perfect and creamy!! 5/5<br/ <br/ Dessert PASSION FRUIT AND GRAND MARNIER SOUFFLÉ Soufflé was super soft and filled with flavours One of the best desserts I have ever had!! 5/5<br/ <br/ <br/ Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone for Fine dining!!
