Molo
Description
Molo, located on Sydney's prestigious Woolloomooloo wharf, has been delighting diners since its opening in 2017. Inspired by the crystal-clear waters of Southern Italy, this stylish yet unassuming apertivo bar offers a menu full of imported delicacies and Mediterranean flavors. Start your visit with a traditional aperitif and cicchetti, Mediterranean small bites, before moving on to share dishes featuring premium ingredients and house-made dressings. Pair your meal with a rare wine from Italy's lesser-known regions for an authentic experience. With stunning views and a trendy vibe, Molo is a hidden gem and a great value dining option in Sydney. Recommended dish: Burrata with Swedish caviar, Sicilian olive oil, and crostini.

Molo Bar consistently delights diners with its exceptional food, particularly the highly praised Burrata, which remains a standout signature dish. However, recent experiences have highlighted some inconsistencies in service speed, with guests noting longer wait times for orders and a lack of specials on certain visits. Despite these minor hiccups, many patrons appreciate the inviting atmosphere that encourages leisurely dining and sharing plates. Whether it’s enjoying great conversations over wine or indulging in shared desserts, Molo Bar remains a beloved spot for memorable meals with friends.
I had a great time the first time I visited this restaurant. However, the service was much slower on my latest visit. It took at least 15 minutes before I could order my wine. Last time, there were some fantastic specials, but this time there was no special list. The Burrata was still delicious, and I was impressed by the wine list.
My partner and I had a fantastic late Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the location was great.
I came here for dinner with three friends, including Samy who was visiting from Sydney. The food was great. We chatted for a while before ordering and it wasn't an issue. We shared plates and the Burrata was a must-try dish. Two of us enjoyed the caviar, but it wasn't to everyone's taste. We shared two desserts among the four of us, which was more than enough after three starters and two mains.
