The Cloche Hat - Woking

They kept our table for us even though we arrived very late, and they stayed open so we could finish our meal. The food was excellent, particularly the dessert, and the service was attentive and enjoyable. It's a great place, warm and cozy thanks to the heater in the middle of the room. What User doesn't like about The Cloche Hat:
The food was mediocre overcooked scollops for starters and duck was nice but not overwhelming and side of root veg also overcooked. The staff tried really hard and the young waitress was lovely but obviously learning which was fine. We started in the bar, which although had a lovely fire the smell of smoke was like being next to a bonfire on an Autumn day the bar could do with a make over in comfort hard wooden stool...
