When I tried to pay with my card, there was some confusion. She attempted to process the payment, then handed my card back to me, saying I needed to enter a PIN, and closed the window. An assistant then handed me my drinks, and when I asked for them without ice, he questioned why I hadn’t mentioned that earlier. The other staff member had already shut the window, so I was unable to explain. To my astonishment, the woman at the window then said she didn’t want to serve me, refused to give me my food, and told me to leave—hers was a very rude demeanor. She even closed the window right in front of me. When I refused to walk away, she threatened to call the police, so I told her I would wait. Ultimately, they never reopened the window nor provided my order, and after waiting for a while, I decided to leave. I am perplexed about who owns this franchise and how they manage to remain in business. This experience definitely deserves a review by KFC headquarters!
This KFC in Williamsburg, VA, is the nicest one I've ever visited! Despite being busy, the service was fast and efficient, even though they mentioned they were short-staffed. Everyone was polite, and the place was spotless. A bonus is that there's a traffic light at the exit of the parking lot, making it very easy to enter and exit on a busy road.
The woman who served me was quite upset when I mentioned that the sweet tea wasn’t sweet. Honestly, I think she should reconsider her role in customer service, as her attitude was off-putting. Additionally, she was wearing a tie-dyed shirt instead of a proper uniform.
We arrived around 8:00 PM and ended up waiting a long time in the drive-thru without anyone taking our order. When we got to the window, the worker inside just stared at us. We soon realized they closed at 8:00 PM. It wasn't a huge issue, though; it's just KFC.
The chicken was completely unseasoned, and I was extremely disappointed. Just thirty days ago, it was quite good—so good, in fact, that I even complimented the manager. However, this time it was terrible. Their consistency is lacking.
