This has to be one of the best places in the area. The food was absolutely incredible and definitely stands out from other Indian restaurants. The staff was AMAZING—so attentive and friendly. They even surprised my husband with a birthday cake! We're from Northern Virginia, and we would happily make the drive just to come back. Thank you all so much!
The food here is incredibly delicious, and the presentation is stunning. It’s evident that the dishes are made fresh; the salmon I ordered was cooked to perfection. The dessert featuring candied carrots was absolutely amazing, though I’m not sure of the name. The service was excellent as well; we had numerous questions about the menu, and the staff were able to provide detailed descriptions for each dish. The seating area is both spacious and clean. I've visited twice and will certainly return!
1. The restaurant claims to offer a modern dining experience, and it truly does. The interior decor is far superior compared to a typical Indian restaurant, and when I inquired with the staff, they mentioned that it had been recently renovated during the COVID closure. 2. They use a beautiful set of chinaware and dinnerware to serve their dishes, adding to the overall dining experience. 3. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We ordered the Mughlai Shrimp, a bread basket, paneer curry, malai kebabs, and sides of rice and onions. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed Indian-style coffee and chai. My favorite dish was definitely the Mughlai Shrimp, and the bread was wonderfully soft, pairing perfectly with the curry. I also appreciated the chef's thoughtful gesture of coming to our table to clarify our order, which I believe is a great practice when there’s any uncertainty, rather than assuming. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Williamsburg, VA.
One of my favorite Williamsburg spots. They are always kind and friendly. The food is always hot in temperature.
We were visiting Williamsburg for the weekend and stumbled upon this restaurant. We loved the food so much that we came the next day as well. The food here is 7-stars. Chef Hansraj is magical. The best Indian food on the east coast (Nothing in NYC, NJ, NoVa compares). The service was extraordinary. Shivani is a great host. She made our experience extra special. Decor and ambience is great as well. We definitely will visit Williamsburg again, mainly for ….. Am!Raj!
