I picked up an order for someone, and they requested that I fill the drink. The order was supposed to be ready when I arrived, but I understand that due to COVID-19, staffing might be limited. To ensure that the food stays hot for delivery, it makes sense that they handed me the order without the drink. They did go back to get the drink for me, so the handoff worked out in the end. This place was tiny and I have only been twice as it's far from home. Staff was really friendly both times. I didn't care for my gyro so much the first time. Second go I got a depth charge po boy which was great. First time here they had perhaps the best Mountain Dew I've ever had. The second visit the had gotten rid of Mt Dew which should be criminal. Both times, tables were pretty dirty, unfortunately. Even when staff was idle nobody was cleaning. Wipe some tables and Do the Dew!
Sadly I don't have pictures to share, but let me tell you....I would put their beef sandwich up against the best in the Chicago area! Get the juicy beef, which is clearly dipped, with sport peppers, so, so good! When we come to the area, I opt for this beef sandwich over Portillo's every time. We have placed online orders, phone orders, always met with friendly staff. Always happy with the food we get from this place....
