What April Franecki dislikes about Cinder:
some of the best brisket I've ever had. the atmosphere is great and the beer/wine list is great. I love what they did with the veranda. the fire pit is always going to go! Hopefully this is a sign of what westerly food scene is going to be. edit: the brisket section was much smaller and the prices are false. will not come back. It's crazy that's busy. I dined at this restaurant in the evening on the patio, and it was lovely! It is situated right next to the river. They offer a few vegan dishes that are clearly marked on the menu, and were able to customize the tofu tacos to make them vegan. I ordered the beans greens, the tofu tacos (modified to be vegan), and the Caesar salad, and enjoyed them all! The food is flavorful with a variety of tastes. The beans greens have a kick of spice to them. Sometimes the tofu is prepared with honey, so I recommend asking for it without honey specifically. It would be great to see a few more vegan options on the menu, but overall I was impressed with their vegan choices and really enjoyed the ambiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to dine here again when I get the chance!

We really enjoyed our experience at Cinder! The food and ambiance were both excellent. This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with a lively vibe. You place your order at the counter and then your food is brought to your table. I tried the beans and greens as well as the watermelon gazpacho, and both dishes were incredibly tasty and beautifully presented.
The tofu tacos and beans and greens bowl were both very tasty and flavorful. The miso hummus with vegetables was a great appetizer. They were able to modify menu choices as needed.
