We were on our way out from Kelowna and decided to stop by the White Spot for lunch. This was my first time at a White Spot, and for a family-friendly restaurant the food was actually pretty good. I ordered their Monty Mushroom burger, upgraded the fries to a poutine (which they provided a lot of curds and most important the gray melted it!). Today was a busy Sunday around noon. My eggs benny was cold. The English muffin was neither toasted nor buttered. Nobody even asked how my food was. I understand there are staffing issues … but restaurants can’t just keep raising prices, reducing food quality and quantity, utilizing poorly-trained and unskilled staff … while still expecting to stay in business.
