The Mill offers a mixed bag of dining experiences, from unwelcoming service and instant coffee to delightful customer care and fantastic food. Despite some oversights like overpowering pickles on sandwiches, the meals are generally delicious, especially the cream tea and scones. The new owners have made significant improvements, transforming it into a top spot for a family catch-up or a leisurely afternoon. Set against a picturesque backdrop with a working waterwheel, the cafe at the Mill is a charming destination for a meal. The service is commendable, making it an inviting hidden gem worth revisiting.
