In 2009, after discovering the warmth of Texas on vacation, the family decided to make a new home here. A few years later, Jeff became the proud owner of Pastafina, and word quickly spread from Mineral Wells to Dallas about our homemade dishes and inviting atmosphere. Family is the most important thing to my parents. They were always at our award ceremonies, graduations, sports events… they never missed it, recalls Al, Jeff’s son, who works alongside his brothers and other family members at the restaurant. They were the surrogate parents of our neighborhood, and now, our staff. Our greatest joy comes from seeing families come together to share a meal, engage in conversation, and relish life 's moments. Our motivation, the one that makes my family the happiest, is seeing families come together to enjoy a meal, to make conversation, and to simply enjoy life, says Jeff.
