Was Anonym at Phillips Shawarma a mag?
I have to say that my family has been getting takeout from here for years now. The owners are so nice! And their falafel plates are wonderful. Portions are huge and there is always food left over for snacks. They have recently opened another storefront in the Superstore plaza at Highland and Fischer-Hallman - we have tried it once and it too was wonderful. Patronize these hardworking people! Had a chicken shawarma for lunch. It was "okay" but certainly not great. The pita was not fresh. The chicken was served from a steam table (again, not fresh like most places have), and there wasn't as much meat as you get at other places. The veggies and garlic sauce was good. So, basically, okay but nothing special. There are other shawarma places close by that are fantastic, so I doubt I will be returning. View all feedback.

One of the most affordable and delicious shawarma place in town!The chicken kebab is a must try! Extremely juicy and good in quality!Clean and hygienic place!!Have also tried Falafel once, bang on!!!Highly recommend!
I have tried most shawarma places in waterloo and this is the best one by far. I have been coming here for years now.Food: The choices of sides for the shawarma plate are better than anywhere else in the city. Pita is available on the side as well for less than a dollar. All vegetables are very fresh. The garlic potatos are to die for and you can ask for the white garlic sauce on top as well. The falafel and shawarma wraps are also good.Service: The couple who run the place are very friendly and fast. They recognize return customers and give the place a mom and pop feel.There is seating inside and lots of parking.Vegetarian options: There is falafel and a large selection of salads including lebanese, quinoa, cabbage, and couscous options.
The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic (with a very warm reception). I ordered the Mixed Plate and Baba Ghanoush and I was delighted, especially because I was able to find a delicious Baba Ghanoush (which for some reason I couldn't find in Mediterranean restaurants here in Canada until now). I highly recommend everyone who visits this place to try the Baba Ghanoush at least once and see for yourself.
I just had lunch at this restaurant for the first time. I ordered falafel, which was made fresh as I waited, along with a chicken shawarma plate and Lebanese salad. Everything was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The falafels were the best I have had in a long time.
