Sole' Restaurant and Wine Bar, located in a historic 150-year-old Seagram's building just minutes from Waterloo Uptown Core, offers an elegant yet casual dining experience. The interior features a two-story timber frame ceiling, exposed brick, and rich wood finishes. The menu highlights Mediterranean cuisine, with options such as thin-crust pizza, pastas, vegetarian dishes, steaks, and rack of lamb. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of wines, local and imported beers on tap, and a great choice of Scotch. With professional yet friendly service, Sole' aims to provide a complete dining experience. Great experience. The beef medallions were excellent, pizza so tasty. Service super friendly. When they found out that the two young people at the table were moving to Waterloo and starting university, they brought them a complementary dessert and a good luck in chocolate....made us feel welcome.
Lunch meeting went very smoothly with this establishment, and their food was incredible.The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, and the service is well paced. They made sure to do time checks and keep things on track for their guests.The food quality is impeccable, and the prices are very reasonable. The menu has a diverse range of offerings; the chef does an excellent job of keeping his dishes unique from the mainstream while mainting a familiar comfort feel. This was a dining treat.Looking forward to my next visit.
We recently had a delightful experience here. Plump tasty mussels, best Caesar salad, generous portion of fresh salmon, and pasta with lobster. Wish we'd had room for dessert! Hostess was friendly and welcoming, and server Teo was perfectly attentive without hovering. Patio with waterfall and umbrellas was a great place to enjoy a summer evening. Will definitely go back!
The salmon, veal and shrimp dishes are all very good.
Despite the change in management, Sole is still one of the top restaurants in KW with the best outdoor seating area. The updated menu is wonderful and our server, Teo, provided exceptional service.
