Was David Thompson at Wr Cafe a mag?
My first visit to WR Cafe was quite impressive! I went there to try the pork chops, but unfortunately, they had already sold out quickly. Instead, I opted for the 2-piece Whiting combo. The fish was excellent, although I found the fries could have been cooked a little longer to achieve a crispier texture. Overall, the meal was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, I can't give this place a decent review because there wasn't anything to base my judgment on. My party entered the restaurant as soon as it opened but there was no one present to seat us or take our order. We waited 36 minutes to be served until the cook from the back came out and apologized that there was no one to take our order since the cashier was late. Unfortunately, I can't give this place a decent review because there wasn't anything to base my judgment on. My party entered the restaurant as soon as it opened but there was no one present to seat us or take our order. We waited 36 minutes to be served until the cook from the back came out and apologized that there was no one to take our order since the cashier was late. It would be prudent for the owner to have a contingency for late personnel (maybe train the people working in the back on the basics of working the register). It's a shame because I had heard good things about the wings here. Maybe I'll try again in the future.
Ate there yesterday because Choi's is closed down and they are right next door. Me and my gf both got the philly cheese steak and fries. The phillies were tasty but we got really bad indigestion afterwards. Boring crinkle cut fries. The girl at the counter was nice but i wont likely return.
Went into WR Cafe the past week and saw one of the cooks not wearing gloves when preparing food and even touching the fries with his bare hands as well while putting it onto a guest plate. This is very unsanitary and unacceptable!
