the blue grenadere is the best broken fish I've ever had, it's incredible and their Chinese lunch packages are also great, by far the best fish and chip stores in Wangaratta View all feedback.

Yummy chips but hands down worst potato cakes ever. I dont quite know what it is.... fish is nice but the batter completely ruins it. The batter this place uses is very thick and for this reason is undercooked at times.I used to live around the corner and for some reason kept coming back. I stopped by last week after not eating from here for many months and it is still the same. View all feedback.
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are the busiest days for takeout orders at this restaurant. I enjoy dining here when it's open, but unfortunately it's now closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If it were to be open on any days, I would recommend Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays when takeout is in higher demand.
Friendly service. Delicious Chinese. Reasonably priced. Best take away in town.
The Blue Grenadere is the best place for battered fish that I have ever tried. It is amazing, and their Chinese lunch packs are also fantastic. Without a doubt, this is the top fish and chip store in Wangaratta.
I have been going to this restaurant for over 25 years and it still has the same owner/operators. They serve delicious traditional fish and chips as well as Chinese takeout.
