Friendly, fast service, a clean, welcoming outdoor setting and pet-friendly atmosphere make it ideal for families and road trippers. Plenty of parking and an on-site nursery add to the charm. While staff are attentive about cross-contamination, fully Coeliac-friendly options are limited, so customers with strict gluten-free needs should take care.

Was Dianne at Native Tree Cafe a mag?
What a little gem! Only found this place recently even though I've been travelling down to Waihi and the Coromandel for about the last 40 years and never noticed it before. Great coffee, good food, amazing homemade pies and a great outdoor setting too. We make this our stop every time now. View all feedback.
