Very nice, calm comfortable hotel. We stayed here whilst driving down to Alsace last month. The manager and receptionist were extremely kind and accommodating. They opened up an additional room for us, as we had not pre-booked. Breakfast was also very nice with lots of choice. View all feedback.
What Brian Haddock doesn't like about Castor:
This has to be the worst Hotel for noise due its surroundings. With no Air-Conditioning in the rooms you do need a window open but you can hear the Lorries driving in convoy from late evening on. Then at midnight the ground rumbled with the sound from the railway siding at the bottom of the garden as a heavy diesel engine pushed empty trucks several times.
