I had an unexpectedly wonderful experience. I anticipated it to be a typical dive like those on the mainland, but this place exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. View all feedback.

I've ordered from here several times while working on the island. The food is just average—nothing that really stands out. The pricing is also quite odd; I ordered the same three dishes on three consecutive days and each time the price was different, which was quite amusing! Unfortunately, the fries arrived cold, lacking any warmth. When the server checked on our meals, she graciously apologized for the cold fries and offered to have them refried. It's a pity that we were so full from lunch because the dessert menu looked incredible. Overall, this was our first visit to the Sand Bar, and if we have a chance to return to Vinalhaven Island, we will definitely be back to dine here again.

This delightful island restaurant is a great spot for a fun night out. We visited on Friday for Trivia Night. The service was excellent and the food was satisfying, making it a perfect place for dinner. In terms of pricing, our meals were quite reasonable, ranging between $10 and $20 per person. I would rate the food a solid 4 out of 5, the service also a 4, and the atmosphere a fantastic 5!
