Don't be fooled by the humble exterior, that's hands down the best sushi place on LI! The fish is fresh and delicious. It's a small place, so it's a reservation. If not, it is absolutely worth waiting. Our favourite is the Toro (Fett tuna). Your selection is excellent. They offer a dessert, which is a Japanese flan and that was also amazing. Been here 4 or 5 times now and I had thought i found sushi mecca for Long Island since it is run by an actual Japanese chef and their fish seemed fresh and well prepared. However this last time has caused me to change my mind and I write this reluctantly bc I dont want to negatively impact a business that tries...so hopefully if they read this, they will try to improve.
