Its a nice place to Eat with big portions. I paid 17 with the meal and drink. Unfortunately they don't have menus in English
We were quite disappointed that a place so close to the city center would at least have an English language menu, or if not, at least someone who spoke English that was not too busy to explain- How is this possible? Also, this place is great for smokers, but not for those that don't light up...prepare to leave with your clothes smelling of cigarettes, even if you never lit one. Good food-interesting options and dishes but given those other 2 factors, I would not go back.
Really nice for Sunday brunch - if you are more than 2 people suggested to make a reservation, really busy! For lunch another day we had soup and sausagues, all good only the pumpkin soup had a little different spicing taste as usual for resturants, big portion is really big! That time the service was a bit slow, other times not at all! Recommended also for cocktails in the evening.
Walked straight in and was greeted by the lovely staff. Not speaking a word of German, Sasha, our waiter was very helpful in showing us the menu, and making great suggestions on what we fancied eating. Overall, the service was great, and we continued to chat to the waiter for the duration of our stay. Would definitely recommend when visiting Vienna, a lovely place with friendly and helpful staff.
Could be 4 stars really... Every time I pass Rochus there is a rumpus... it’s always packed. There is often a queue. I couldn’t work out why. Turns out inside is massive and you can walk in and get a table, or reserve. Outside is smoking and limited, which is where Austrians seem to want to sit, hence the queue. They are queuing for outside. So if you want inside, walk past. Service good. They just need to be more organised.
