A charming little spot with live music! I discovered it because an indie band I follow was playing there. In addition to being a small music venue, they also run an active music school. The prices also seem to be in line with other places in the area.
It had been twenty years since my last visit, but I had a fantastic experience last weekend! The music was incredible—definitely check out Rachel Levitin or Tony Lucca. The atmosphere of the place was great, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. My only complaint, which doesn't even warrant taking away a star, is that the seating at the tables felt a bit cramped. I managed to squeeze in fine, but it was a bit tricky getting in and out for the bathroom or other needs. Overall, it was a perfect outing!
If you're over 60, this is an ideal live music bar for you. Concerts begin at 7:00 PM and wrap up by 9:00 PM, allowing you to get to bed early. It's the only bar where you can enjoy a rock concert while sitting comfortably in a chair, as if you're attending a theater performance. However, it seems the staff have lost their motivation and don't appear happy to serve. If your pizza comes out burnt, it doesn't seem to matter to anyone.

Jamming Java is probably one of the most intimate and well run venues in the northern Virginia area. Service is always great the sound is impeccable And Keegan is one of the best sound men I've ever met. If you ever get a chance and are in Vienna Virginiacheck out their calendar And do visit this great venue, Oh and they also have great pizza.
