We are staying in Vero Beach for an extended period this winter. When sitting at the Ocean Grill bar we were told to try Fire Wine. It is off the beaten path in a small strip mall in Vero Beach. Nothing fancy ? . We were seated at the chefs counter. To watch theses chefs preparing the nights food was amazing. The waiter spelled out all this nights specials. Very enjoyable evening. The restaurant was a disappointment, with high prices and subpar dishes. Even after informing the waiter that I was vegetarian and there were no options on the menu, I was served a plate of charred yet raw vegetables, bland veggie hash, overcooked beets, and stewed tomatoes, all swimming in a soggy balsamic and pesto vinaigrette.
