Was Anonym at Zeitoon a mag?
The neighborhood is kind of funky and there is nothing fancy about the place but the people are very friendly and the food was very good. We had the chicken kabobs, lamb kabobs, tenderloin kabobs, fesenjan and some appetizers I can't spell. Everyone enjoyed it and would agree to return. One diner lived in Iran a hundred years ago and said it's very authentic. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Zeitoon:
Tjis restaurant looked like as it is a nice place to go for birthday dinner. It looks clean and well decorated. The managentay want to consider (1) training their staff to treat customers more politely. (2) Food tastes good but looks average! One may expext some care to be taken to make it look lile streef food to a restaurant quality presentation. View all feedback.

Zeitoon on Pendrell offers Persian food and with their high prices (Koobideh $16, Kabab Torsh $22, etc) they are trying to make us believe they are a fine restaurant. Staff are not Persian and I have my doubts that the chef isn't either. I've been there a few times because a few of my friends tend to go there. Every time I ordered a different dish but I'm afraid everything is bland and tasteless there. Kabab koobideh doesn't taste like kabab; chicken kabab doesn't taste like chicken. I usually manage to eat a few bites and then leave the the rest untouched. This is not an authentic Persian food by any means. I'm amazed by the number of good reviews here but then I looked at the user names and I realized these are non-Persian customers. If you're Persian and have grown up eating decent Persian food, don't have your hopes up.
Just went to their Port Moody Location. They had absolutely nobody in the restaurant at 8 pm (peak dinner time) and they refused to give us a table for two because they were fully booked!!Poor management and probably not as fresh of food as they had nobody in there at 8pm on a Friday night
