That was a nice surprise. This vegan restaurant is open for limited hours and run by volunteers. The menu is quite limited. When we arrived, they had already walked out of a sauce and only after 12 a.m. They did more, but due to the change of staff it took a while. We had a rice bowl with **** sauce and a curry sauce. Effervescently joyful volunteers, friends, and strangers alike, hardy and heart-y food and coffee, beautiful lighting and scenery, and good wifi make this place a perfect spot for studying, hanging out, hashing out papers, and more. Seedlings has become a home away from home!
Arguably the best restaurant on campus, Seelings is one of the few vegan and healthy options on-campus and always has reasonably priced, delicious food. It's an excellent place to study as you aren't required to purchase things to study in the Penthouse, and has a really nice home-y ambience to it. I really enjoy coming here.

Usually don't go for vegan food but Seedlings offers a great variety of tasty dishes at an affordable price. Most of their produce is apparently sourced from or near UBC so its really fresh. Go to spot for cheap healthy food on campus (if you like vegan food!
The best : food is very affordable and the stews/curry bowl always change so that's exciting. And they are delicious. I used to think the portions were too small but they recently created an option for extra rice so now it's perfect. People working there are all wonderful and the space also has a really nice vibe.
