The restaurant's signature dish, the Hainan chicken, is highly recommended, but some customers were disappointed by sold-out items and inconsistencies in service. The food quality is mediocre, portions are small, and prices are high. Despite some complaints, the cozy atmosphere and attentive service were praised. Overall, the restaurant offers a variety of Malaysian and Singaporean dishes, with Hainan chicken as a standout, but the value for money may not be worth it for some diners. Despite its shortcomings, it remains a popular spot for those craving Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine in a casual setting.

What User doesn't like about City 1 Cafe:
Have been a few times but this last one was the worst. The owner (I think) was impatient with all the customers and the help. He did greet a regular with extra attention. I did not feel welcomed. Their hainanese chicken is fair but Prataman's is way better. Not sure if I will be back. View all feedback.
