The Bricklayers Arms has emerged as a delightful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of nearby shopping streets. With its inviting outdoor terrace and cozy interior, the pub offers a welcoming atmosphere that both regulars and newcomers adore. The recent transformation under new ownership has revitalized the space, creating a vibrant ambiance complemented by a diverse selection of beers and a tasty menu. Patrons celebrate lively karaoke nights or simply enjoy the laid-back vibe while savoring people-watching opportunities. Though some evenings may lack energy, the pub remains a perfect spot for a cheerful gathering or a peaceful pint.
I took my father out for a special dinner (not at this restaurant), and afterwards we decided to grab a pint. Compared to Tavern on the Green, this place was lacking—serving us less than half a pint of beer. It was disappointing, as I believe pubs should have a lively atmosphere with good music that isn’t too loud, allowing for pleasant conversation, and they should offer a great selection of beers along with excellent service.
We had a real renter and a renter. they're a nice couple. they deserve to go on. I bet the tenant/owner has noticed how the sales have shot up compared to the other manager who is completely free from any management skills or any experience in the leadership and hospitality that she should have shown her mules. she is without any personality. maybe because she was a heavy cannabis consumer and a secret drinker.
Last Saturday (February 2022), I visited this restaurant for a few pints and was impressed by the large drink options at great prices. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It's a really nice place, and I will definitely be back!
