We're new to Ulverston, but Fourpence Cafe is definitely a gem. The place is unique and run by lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Served a veg soup seafood chowder that the high street brands could only dream of. No hot food other than soup and it was only 245pm. Went to another cafe serving lovely coffee and hot food . Very sad but are you running the cafe for your convenience or the customers convenience. I have to say it is the former. Will never return and this cafe represents everything bad about the old Britain that closes before the day has even got going.
