Located in Pyrmont, this charming little cafe offers a mixed bag of reviews. The inside dining area is reported as dim, prompting some customers to opt for outdoor seating - although this may not be ideal on a windy day. The avocado toast, made with Sonoma toast, gets a thumbs up for its generous size. However, inconsistencies in the coffee, despite the beans coming from Sample Coffee Roasters, have left some customers disappointed. The staff, however, receive high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness. The menu features mouthwatering options like sourdough sandwiches, salads, and fresh juices. The cafe's bustling atmosphere and fresh salads have garnered positive feedback. Expensive add-ons like bacon have raised some eyebrows, but the quality of the food and drinks, including the soy flat white, are considered excellent. Customers also appreciate the welcoming and friendly staff, making this cafe a solid choice for a lazy brunch or a quick bite. The generous portions and tasty options, including the Quarry Burger, have made this spot a favorite for many locals and visitors alike. Overall, the warm and inviting atmosphere, along with the delicious food and drinks, have made this cafe a hidden gem in Ultimo.
