The serves are huge so, although the prices aren't that low, you can get great value if you want a lot of food. I was pretty impressed with the bakmi goreng, with lots of tasty meat and a good flavour except for lots and lots of salt (glad I got the spicy version to overwhelm the salt a little). First impressions of this establishment were not good. The upstairs sit down area had the ambiance of a third world factory canteen. My friend ordered a stir fry which looked quite good, but he said was fairly oily. I ordered chili and soy chicken with rice. Awoseme traditional friedrice , couldn't ask for more . Favorite all the time and reachable price the portion its big and fully satisfied up up up.
Have been there couple of times but the food quality recently has been dropped. Too much carbo (rice or noodle),but lesser vege and meats. Not recommended if u order the bbq pork, you will only get 2-3 small pieces of meat ???? food taste is no longer good.
Do they still open? Been there 3 times but it's always closed. Called the mobile with unsuccessful attempt as well. Would love to try the food. Finally went there on weekdays at 7.50pm. Their closing time is 8.00pm. Went inside and was told the kitchen has closed!! No consistency in opening hours or times. Very disappointed.
Best nasi goreng (Indonesia style fried rice) with wok hei charred taste and spices full of flavors. get nasi goreng jawa with BBQ pork. taste just like nasi goreng abang tek-tek from street vendor in Jakarta when I am craving for it. also try their bakmi ayam which also good
My all time favourites here are the #7 Kwietiaw Goreng with crispy roast pork or the #11 Nasi Goreng special with chicken and prawns with an egg on top. <br/ <br/ I have also tried a bit of the #10 Nasi Goreng Asian with vegetables which is something I might try next time.<br/ <br/ They have moved only a couple of hundred metres into a newer and larger premises. Fortunately the quality of food is just as awesome as ever but be prepared for longer wait times to get your food order (especially if you are a large group). <br/ <br/ If you want takeaway I suggest you phone ahead.<br/ <br/ This place does not let you down if you are craving some indo food. Far better than ones I have tried in Kensington and closer to the city!
