**Dining at The Shell Shack: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** The Shell Shack offers a varied dining experience, with highlights including excellent fried pickles and crispy calamari, alongside desserts like the fried bread pudding drizzled with caramel. However, patrons have noted inconsistent food quality, with some experiencing lukewarm or overcooked seafood. Service varies, with many praising attentive staff while others faced delays and insufficient responses to concerns. Pricing also sparked discontent, especially regarding surprising market rates for seafood. Despite the negatives, improvements in atmosphere and service suggest some diners might find a worthwhile meal, albeit with caution regarding costs and food preparation.

Was User at Shell Shack a mag?
This is our first visit back to the Shell Shack since it opened a few years ago, and what a lovely change! Our service was excellent, the food exceeded our expectations, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The restaurant was busy, and while the staff was minimal, they worked hard to ensure everyone was well taken care of. I highly recommend paying them a visit! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Shell Shack:
They have Blue Moon on tap and the best fried pickles! But our crab and shrimp came out luke warm and over cooked. The service was good though, thank you Kayla! We might try again, not sure. View all feedback.

This restaurant has a fun vibe and specializes in seafood, which can often be pricey. However, the authentic seafood they serve is well worth it, and I didn't mind the cost at all. Although I didn’t try any Hawaiian dishes, I didn’t actually order them. The waiting staff was exceptional and attentive. Overall, considering everything, the $75 I spent for two dinners was a great deal. I will definitely return to this restaurant!
Delicious perfectly cooked and seasoned seafood. Boils are market price so it was a little pricey but well worth the trip. Will definitely be back.
Always great food here. Wait staff is awesome as well. This is a number 1 spot even though prices have gone up,
