The hotel restaurant of Mercure Hotel Trier Porta Nigra has a direct view of Porta Nigra. Dining with the kids made my site-seeing experience a little more relaxing because the only objects blocking the view was the street traffic. The food was satisfactory. Dining at the hotel was our first stop in Trier and in retrospect a clever start because the tourist buses leave from 'around the corner'. View all feedback.
