Riverbelle is known more as a banquet hall than a regular restaurant. Recent reviews of the Christmas party mention tough prime rib and possibly pre-made chicken cordon bleu. This is not a walk in restaurant .. it is a Banquet Hall :Just had our Christmas Party at the Riverbelle. out of the 8 people that sat at our table, and others at our party: primed rib with Yorkshire pudding : had flavour BUT TOUGH AND CHEWING. The Chicken Cordon Blue .. was not made fresh, clearly from a box and was it baked or fried? I'm betting fried. now the Fresh vegies :NOT definitely from a freezer. the only positive : chocolate cake for desert and the waiter/waitress' ...
There was a big Teck dinner held here and it worked really well. The food was good and the helpings generous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tables were set up nicely too so that everyone at the table could communicate which is t always the case with big groups.
This is the best banquet place in town. There is a great atmosphere in the room, and you can go outside and enjoy the river view.
I went to this restaurant with a large group of friends and acquaintances for a social gathering. The food was cold and just okay, and the bathroom definitely needed some attention. A new makeover would greatly improve the place, especially if they added more windows. Overall, with an updated menu, this place has the potential to be great.
