We went to Shelbys' Firehouse Tavern last week. I was hesitant to go because of the negative review BUT I am glad i went. The food was excellent. The servings were fresh and hot out of the oven. One person in our group ordered the mushrooms for an appetizer and she received so many that she shared between us. The mushrooms were so good. Used to be one of my parents' favorites and I always liked when I came to visit. I was in town 2 weeks ago. My mom hadn't been there in some time since my father passed and she no longer drives, so she really wanted to go. One word HORRIBLE. Came in mid afternoon for lunch menu hardly anyone there.
