We did stop at the campground store, but just to get water (after biking Cades Cove Plus the air conditioning felt wonderful! It seems ice cream is a big seller this time of year : I wouldof got some but I don't eat ice cream. There are all kinds of souvenirs for sale and snacks and drinks too! This visit had to be one of the busiest days of the year. I was warned it would take at least 4 5 hours to drive the loop after leaving the store, However, on this trip we saw a Bear, a couple of turkeys and a Doe and fawn.
