I was born and raised in Northern NJ. I grew up on amazing home cooked and restaurant Italian food from NJ and NYC. So I have very high standards for what good Italian food should taste like. Every Italian restaurant around upstate NY has deeply disappointed me, except for this restaurant. It's so nice to have found a local place with food that reminds me of home. Waitstaff is good. Food is above average for the area. Owner’s policies though are rigid. They do not make accommodations for food allergies. Burger roll bottom HARD as a rock and when I requested a replacement, they charged $1.50. They nickel and dime on everything. It takes away from the experience.
